Dr Garibotto treats benign and malignant breast conditions with a speciality in oncoplastic and implant-based breast reconstruction. She manages surgical diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, salivary gland and adrenals, and operates on general surgical conditions with both laparoscopic and open techniques.
CONTACTDr Garibotto holds an honours degree in medical science and post-graduate medicine from Sydney University and a fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
Dr Garibotto holds accreditation with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS) and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). Additionally, she is a member of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand, the Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgical society and the General Surgeons Society of Australia.
Dr Garibotto completed three years of sub-speciality training in Breast, Endocrine and Head & Neck Surgery, focusing on oncoplastic and reconstructive techniques.
Dr Garibotto's practice operates from St George Private with her colleague and mentor Dr Peter Schwartz, a well-known and respected breast surgeon in Sydney.
Dr Garibotto presents at numerous research conferences in Australia and overseas. Recently she presented at the World Congress in Thyroid Cancer in Boston USA and the Melbourne International Joint Breast Congress.
Dr Garibotto has a passion for education and makes time to help future medical students by teaching courses at the University of Sydney Medical School.
